Under His Majesty King’s Patronage
Thai Contractors Association was founded on 12th December, 1928 under the name “The Engineering Association of Siam” and graciously accepted by The King Bhumibol Adulyadej as the Thai Contractors Association under His Majesty King’s Patronage since 24th October, 2001.
1) To promote the occupation of all types of construction contractors and to enable them to gain the confidence of the Government, private sector and other organizations and agencies both local and overseas – in terms of work ability, technology, pricing standards and business ethics
2) To enhance and develop the construction knowledge by giving training and conducts seminars for the members and certifying recognition awards to members who have achieved and extraordinary degree of success in construction, or other related field
3) To acts as a centre of communication through which information flows between Government authorities, organizations, the private sector and contractors
4) To harmonize and uphold unity among members through various entertaining activities, business meeting and sports matches
5) To carry out no political activities.
Thai Contractors Association is acting as the organization that connects between the government and a private group of contractors for a better benefit in construction industry.
